Office 2007 File Format Macro Issue
Has anyone here had this same problem?

Came across it myself today. Someone claims that an update to Office was the cause, but others have had the problem much prior to that time. I use macros in my workbooks and recently decided to convert to the new formats as they take up only half the space then that of files saved in the old Office formats and have better security for encrypted files. Don't know if this is a problem for all MS Office programs, but it is sure disappointing that you can't use macros anymore in encrypted files in the new formats.
Like the solution in the thread there, I converted back, but anyone with a better solution would be great to hear from.
