This is what I get when I turn on the system.

Disk Boot Failure,Insert System Disk And Press Enter

I got a OS of Microsoft Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1. I didnt see a download for the Service Pack.

I down loaded the torrent files for the iso (both 32 and 64 bit) to burn onto a DVD. Do I need a CD to put that on

I put the disc in the drive, hit enter and the program did not boot the system.

What am I doing wrong?

To anybody wanting to use the image and use a USB flash drive to boot it….

One thing is you’ll need to access to a Vista PC (a friend’s or a public PC)…. or Windows 7.

You’ll need to use Diskpart and bootsect…. diskparti s part of Windows Vista and 7 (XP does have it but Vista’s and 7’s version detects flash drives so yeah….)

Bootsect you can get off the internet

Anyways search up how to install Windows 7 usb flash

Follow the instructions except alter it in the end instead of copying Windows 7/Vista files to the flash drive, copy your Recovery files

It work for me and is unbelievable :D:D, I had Vista Home Premium preinstalled , and only this solution seems to do the trick My problem was the appearance of the blank screen with only the cursor in the middle of the screen, after many hours ,I found this site and managed to work things out.Many thanks and good luck to all !!!!!!!!

Wow. This is “I’m twelve year old and what is this” all over again.

Stuff like that is just fun and games to 4chan. They figure the kids will be seeing stuff like that soon enough in today’s society, and the worst part is, it’s true. I’ve heard of kindergarteners having sex, and 6 year olds knowingly burning down buildings, and who do we blame when stuff like that happens? 4chan, but if we really look, we can see it’s things like the morals instilled in children by Rap and Hip-Hop, as well as bad parenting. The parents these days should have all right to just smack a kid if he is disrespectful, but laws that prevent this are making this world worse.

So, in other words, 4chan is just the aftermath of the other problems of the world created by people like us.

hello guys i have one pc (which is not working ) and one mac computers so my pc has startup problems , and from what i understand is i have to burn this recovery file and insert it in my cd drive .and i need to ask some qs aswell :-

- is it possible to download it to usb and boot from the usb
- and if it is not possible from usb , does it make any difference to burn it in mac computer
- and finally does it work because there are a lot complain in this site?

Firefox at work leaks memory like you wouldnt believe! It can take up around 650Mb and makes my computer so slow. Firefox on my Linux box also uses up a lot of memory, not the same thou and it doesnt eat at my box
